Welcome to Israel!

Upon our early evening arrival into Ben Gurion International we will be met and transferred to our hotel.

Day 3

Coastal Route

Drive along the Mediterranean Coast to the 5000 year old port city of Jaffa.
Visit ancient Caesarea and Mt. Carmel.
Explore Megiddo, located on the brow of the Valley of Armageddon.
Visit Nazareth, Jesus’ childhood home.

Day 4

Sea of Galilee/ the Foot-Steps of Jesus

Take a Boat Tour of the Sea of Galilee.
Visit Migdal, the home of Mary Magdalene.
We’ll drive the plain of Ginosar to Tabgha where Jesus “multiplied the loaves and fish.”
Next on our stop is the Mount of Beatitudes.
Visit Capernaum, home of the synagogue of Jesus’ ministry and miracles.

Day 5

Hula Basin / Upper Galilee / Golan

Pass ancient Hazor through the Hula Basin, known in the Old Testament as the Waters of Merom.
Hike in the Dan Nature Preserve and view the rushing Headwaters of the Jordan River.
Take a bus to Caesarea Philippi where Peter said to Jesus “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.”

Day 6

Wilderness of Judea / Masada / Dead Sea / Jerusalem

See the oasis of Old Testament Jericho where Joshua led Israel in the siege of the city, and down to the Dead Sea.
Visit Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered by a Bedouin boy.
Tour the fortress at Massada, one of the most important places in Israel’s history.

Day 7

The Holy City of Jerusalem

From the Mount of Olives our guide will share the geography and history of Jerusalem.
Walk through the Garden of Gethsemane and discuss Jesus’ suffering and his “Passion Week.
Visit the Upper Room, the traditional site of Jesus’ last Passover meal.
Visit the Citadel Museum of Herod’s Palace at “David’s Tower.”

Day 8

Jerusalem- The Old City

Explore the Rabbinical Tunnels behind the Western Wall.
Visit the Pools of Bethesda.
The Ecce Homo begins the traditional Via Dolorosa leading to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Enjoy a Special Service at the Garden Tomb.

Day 9

Jerusalem- The New City / Departure

Visit the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament, and the Bronze Menorah in front of the building.
See the Shrine of the Book, home to the Dead.
Sea Scrolls at the Israel Museum.
Visit Yad Vashem Holocaust memorial and museum.
